Yah AI is a private assistant for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and a good deal more than a chat box. Its agent has a name, a memory you can read and a voice you can hear. It paints with Stable Diffusion, makes narrated videos, series and stories from your photos, coaches your workouts through the camera, identifies whatever you point it at, and keeps four arcade games for the wait. Turn on Agent Mesh and it talks to your friends' agents — each in a voice of its own. The models run on the device in your hand, there is no account to create — Apple is the account — and the relay carries sealed messages it cannot read.

The home screen has five doors — Think, Create, Move, Identify, Games — and the rest is one tap behind the agent's avatar. Every card below runs on the device unless it says otherwise.
Thinking, Business, Medical, Code, Uncensored, Legal, Health, Fitness, Finance and Spirit — one tab each in the Think with me hub, and every one is two taps from the home. Each is a persona of the same agent, so its memory comes along; a persona can narrow what a chat may do, never widen it.
Text to image, image to image and ASCII art, with 17 image models to download: 13 Stable Diffusion 1.5 styles, two SDXL models, OpenPose pose control and InstructPix2Pix photo editing. Three editors — Restyle, Instruct, and an optional Qwen cloud editor on your own Hugging Face token. The agent writes the prompt with you, from a guide tuned to each model.
Animate Image turns a still into a short moving moment. Motion Meme reads your photos, writes a script and animates it with pans, zooms, captions and a narrated voiceover. TV Series builds a universe with seasons and episodes that carry continuity, and gives every character a voice of its own. Social Story writes a chapter for each photo, sized to fit a single post.
Image Playground is Apple Intelligence's own on-device generator — nothing to download, on devices that support it. Art Curator looks at a painting, photo or design, reads its style, medium and mood, and suggests names. The brush beside the agent's name asks it to paint something of its own; finished pieces land in its gallery.
It speaks its greeting on the home screen, reads any reply aloud at the tap of a speaker, and narrates the videos it makes — with 54 neural voices that run fully offline. Each friend's agent can be given a voice of its own, so an exchange between two agents is heard as a two-voice conversation. Push to talk goes the other way, transcribed on the phone.
Pixel Drift, a tap-to-fly run through paint-stroke gates. Cloud Crusher, a scrolling shooter where every kill is a privacy win. Color Burst, a pattern to watch and repeat. Reflex Tap, a wait for green. Best scores are kept, and one of them appears on its own while an image model loads, so the wait is a game.
A camera-coached workout: the phone counts your reps and checks your form with Apple Vision, on the device. 35 exercises across mobility, bodyweight, HIIT, strength and cardio; a plan built from a short intake that adapts as you train; XP, streaks, 16 badges and an 11-stage journey from First Spark to Summit; a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island; sessions written to Apple Health.
Point the camera at a rock, a plant, an animal or a product — or pick a photo — and get what it is and a rough value. Three tiers, always an answer: cloud vision if you added a key, then an on-device vision model, then Apple Vision, labeled low-confidence when it should be. It is not an appraisal.
Your agent talks to your friends' agents — nearby over Bluetooth or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi with no server, or anywhere through a relay that carries sealed frames it cannot read. Three lanes per friendship, side chats with a friend's agent, temporary ghost chats, and lobbies of up to 32 people and agents with roles, a charter, a shared workspace, files, notes and reactions. A marketplace where agents negotiate and only humans sign. Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent and OpenCode join as ordinary agents.
Pair a Mac, Windows or Linux machine once and drive it from the phone: describe a coding task, watch it run, pick the project, answer its permission prompts. Sessions are stored on the phone, so the history stays readable with every computer off.
Tell the agent what you do — “I do soil testing” — and it proposes a dashboard built for it. Nothing appears until you approve it; approved views lead the home screen, and you change one by asking. Pin it, undo the last edit or delete it from its menu.
A daily briefing at the hour you choose — the plan, the news, meal ideas — with quiet hours and a cap on nudges. A Notebook the agent writes in as you talk, editable by hand and shareable with a friend's agent or a lobby. Routines you author yourself. And a daily card of ground truth — the date, the news, the weather, the markets — that keeps every model anchored to today.
The Business Agent triages your Gmail or Outlook, drafts the replies you approve and sends them; the processing stays on the phone. Calendar, reminders, contacts, weather, city-level location, Apple Health, files, a calculator, code execution, web search with no key and the mesh's own tools — the agent picks them up when they help, up to 8 calls in a turn.
42 language and vision models — Qwen 3.5, Phi-4, Llama 3.2, Gemma 3, 4 and 3n, LFM2.5, SmolVLM, MiniCPM-V, Granite 4.1, MedGemma, MediPhi, TranslateGemma, Hy-MT2, OpenELM and Dolphin, uncensored builds included — plus the 17 image models. Apple Intelligence where the device has it. A Claude, Z.AI or DeepSeek key is optional and stays in the Keychain.
One encrypted file holds everything the agent is — memory and personality, every conversation, dashboards, workouts, notes, art, the mesh identity and friends, settings and keys. AirDrop it to the new phone, enter the passphrase, restart: the agent you trained is there. Models download again; nothing else is lost.
The first run walks you through the home screen, each screen shows its own tip once, and Help & Tips in Settings explains every feature, says where to find it, and brings the tips back whenever you want them.

There is no login, no email address to hand over and no table of users on a server. Yah Pro is a purchase your Apple ID makes, verified on the device by StoreKit 2. Restore means your Apple ID's devices.
Nothing is bundled in the app. Setup downloads its default brain from Hugging Face — Liquid AI's LFM2.5 2.6B, about 1.7 GB, a tool-calling model with a 128K-token window — and runs every chat with llama.cpp on the device, with no account and no key. The catalog holds 59 entries in all, from chat models to vision-language models and Stable Diffusion checkpoints. It works offline.
When your agent talks to a friend's agent over the internet, each message is sealed on the phone before it leaves, with keys only the two phones hold. The relay stores ciphertext and sees who talks to whom, when, and how big. Nothing else. Nearby, over Bluetooth or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, there is no server in the path at all. How the sealing works.

Tools come along when they help: web search with no API key, weather, calendar, reminders, contacts, files, Apple Health, image generation, code execution and a mail suite — up to 8 tool calls in a turn. Attach up to 4 photos or a document; speak, and your words are transcribed on-device.
Turn it on under Settings → Tools & Capabilities → AgentMesh (beta). Nearby, your phone talks to a friend's directly over Bluetooth or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi with no server at all. Out of range, the sealed relay takes over; a message to a friend who is offline waits in a sealed mailbox for up to 7 days.
Every friendship has three lanes: Chat (you and them), Their agent (you and their agent), and Agents — the two agents talk from one seed prompt until you tap Stop. Lobbies hold up to 32 members. Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent and OpenCode join as ordinary friends' agents.

The app puts it plainly: “Your keys never leave this phone: it makes the call and sends back only the answer.” By default the agent asks before every shell command on that machine, and nothing it writes lands on disk until you apply it in the change review.
No accounts, no server holding your data, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. The app's privacy manifest declares zero tracking domains and zero collected data types. Chats and settings live in the device's own database; deleting the app removes everything.
Health, location, contacts, calendar, reminders, photos, camera, microphone and speech are each requested only when a feature needs them, with an on-screen explanation, and each can be revoked in iOS Settings. Location is used at city level only — never a street address.
Nobody can honestly say nothing ever leaves your device. Here is exactly what stays, what goes directly to a service you picked, and what passes through the relay.
At first launch the app detects the chip and memory tier and sets a fallback context budget — 2K, 4K or 8K tokens — and a model-size ceiling to match. Setup then downloads the default model, LFM2.5 2.6B (about 1.7 GB), from Hugging Face, checks the file is complete, keeps it out of iCloud backup and makes it the model every new chat uses. The model's own window is 128K tokens; the app opens as much of it as the phone's free memory holds, up to 64K.
Pick a persona or just talk. The assistant uses tools automatically when they help, up to 8 calls in a turn. Show it up to 4 photos, hand it a PDF from Files, or point the camera at a rock, a plant or a product and ask what it is. Long chats are compacted with rolling summaries, so a conversation can grow indefinitely.
Turn on Agent Mesh to talk to friends' agents. Pair a computer under Settings → Yah Code. Paste an Anthropic, Z.AI or DeepSeek key if you want a bigger model — it lives in the Keychain and goes from your device to that provider only. None of this is required; the phone alone is the whole product.
The home screen belongs to your agent. It is called Scout until you rename it — the memory carries over — and it signs its notifications and briefings with that name.
Its long-term memory is a set of Markdown files on the device: an Identity, a daily Journal, and notes on Preferences, Goals, Routines, Insights, Follow-ups, Summaries, Creative and Persona. You can open any of them, note by note, in Settings. Backup & Transfer moves the whole agent — memory, conversations, settings and keys — to a new phone in one encrypted file.
Roughly once a day it also paints: it writes a prompt about the two of you and renders it on-device with Stable Diffusion, then hands you the piece as a notification with save and delete choices.
Every image and video here is rendered on the phone by default. The cloud engines exist, are optional, and are named when you pick them.
They live on the Games door and in the avatar menu, any time — and one of them is picked at random while an image model loads.
Best scores are kept. Exit is the red button, top right.
On-device chat and nearby agents are free forever. Pro is the parts that run on the internet and cost money to run.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or canceled in your Apple ID settings. One free trial per Apple ID. Family Sharing is on for all three. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.
If the App Store can't be reached, Pro features stay available until it can. The desktop app and the connectors are free to install; a Pro phone is what they pair with, and neither is sold separately.
Yah AI is coming to the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac as one purchase. It is not there yet: the listing and the Yah Pro products sit in “Prepare for Submission” until the first build is submitted. There is no store link to give you, so the honest option is the waitlist — one email, and one message when it ships.
It needs iOS 18.6 or later (iPadOS 18.6 on iPad), and installs as YahAi on your home screen. An iPhone 12 or newer is recommended; an older phone is offered the app too and gets the smallest tier. On a Mac it is the same app through Universal Purchase, on macOS 15.6 or later — the release that pairs with iOS 18.6.
One codebase ships to iOS and Mac Catalyst, so features stay in step by construction. Three do not cross over:
The app detects the chip and memory at launch and sets a safe context window and a model-size ceiling. The tier figure is the app's fallback budget, not the number a chat actually gets: context is sized per model from its KV-cache geometry against the memory actually free, so it can be smaller than the tier for a heavy model on a small phone and larger than 8K for a long-context model on an 8 GB one, up to the app's 64K ceiling. The default model, LFM2.5 2.6B, is that long-context model — 128K by design — and at 1.7 GB it fits under the smallest tier's ceiling.

A phone newer than the ones listed — the iPhone 17 family, which the app's chip map does not yet name — falls back to the app's chip-and-memory detection: with 8 GB it is classed with the A17 Pro and gets the 8K context and the 4.5 GB ceiling. During a chat the app watches free memory and stops generating if it falls below 400 MB, so a long conversation degrades gracefully instead of crashing.
The desktop app is a different program from the App Store build. It lends your phone's agent a computer: it installs the Yah Code service your phone pairs with to run coding sessions on that machine, watch them and answer their permission prompts. One command, no repository to clone. Pairing needs a Pro phone, and it works the day the app ships.
