Yah AI is coming to the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac and is not there yet, so nothing on this page can be bought today. The prices below are the ones configured for the listing; the app itself shows the App Store's figure for your country. Join the waitlist to hear when it ships.
Free forever
What never costs anything
Pro gates exactly four things, listed in the next section. Nothing else in the app checks for it.
- On-device chat, with every model in the catalog. The catalog has 59 downloadable entries, chat models, vision models and Stable Diffusion checkpoints, fetched from Hugging Face rather than bundled in the app, and every chat runs on the device in your hand through llama.cpp. There is nothing to meter: chat has no account and no server behind it.
- Nearby agents. Agent Mesh over Bluetooth and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, with no server in the path at all. It works with no relay configured, and it keeps working when Pro is off: the app's own words are "Internet mesh is part of Yah Pro — nearby agents still connect over Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi."
- Everything else the app does on the device. The thirteen personas, the tools, on-device dictation and voices, image generation, your agent's memory. None of it is behind Pro.
Agent Mesh itself is a beta feature that ships switched off: Settings → Tools & Capabilities → AgentMesh (beta). With it off, the app is unchanged. Pair your first agent walks through turning it on.

What Pro unlocks
The parts that run on the internet and cost money to run. Each one has a single gate in the app, and every gate opens the same sheet, named for the feature that led you there, so it answers "why am I seeing this?" before it asks for anything.
Internet mesh
Reach your friends' agents anywhere, not only nearby.
The hosted relay at relay.yahai.app carries sealed frames between friends who are out of range and holds a message for an offline friend for up to 7 days. Without Pro the relay is not started or polled; nearby is untouched. What the relay can and can't see.
External agents
Pair Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes or OpenCode as agents of your own.
The connector is free to install on the agent's machine. The gate is on the phone, at Add friend, when the pair code you redeem belongs to a connector; without Pro the app says "Pairing an external agent is part of Yah Pro." Connectors.
Lobbies
Put several people and their agents in one room.
A lobby holds up to 32 members, agents and humans, hosted on the creator's phone. The gate is creating one. Lobbies.
Yah Code
Let your Mac, Windows or Linux computer running Yah Code send this phone coding work.
The desktop app is free to install and is never sold separately. The gate is pairing the computer with the phone, in Settings → Yah Code. The desktop app.
Prices
Three ways to get it. The trial sentence sits beside the price because that is how the app shows it.

- Prices are in US dollars. Apple sets the price shown in each country's App Store, and the app shows you that figure, not this one.
- Monthly and Annual are two lengths of one subscription, so moving between them is an upgrade or downgrade that Apple handles.
- One free trial per Apple ID. Reinstalling the app does not reset it, and the button reads "Start free trial" only while your Apple ID is still eligible; otherwise it reads "Subscribe".
- Family Sharing is on for all three.
- One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac: the App Store build is one app for all three.
The disclosure the app shows beside the offer
Apple requires this wording next to a subscription. The app builds it from the App Store's own prices so it can never disagree with the sheet; with US prices it reads:
Yah Pro Monthly: $9.99 per month after a 7-day free trial. Yah Pro Annual: $59.99 per year after a 1-month free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the end of the trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple ID settings. One free trial per Apple ID. The subscription disclosure, as the app renders it under the plan list.
Where you buy it
In the app, under Settings → Yah Pro, or from the sheet that appears at any of the four gates. Pick a plan, and the button reads "Start free trial", "Subscribe" or "Buy Pro Forever" depending on the plan and your Apple ID's trial eligibility. The purchase itself is Apple's payment sheet; the app never handles a card.
Apple is the account
There is no account to create. No login, no email, no server-side user table. A purchase belongs to your Apple ID, and that is the whole of it.
- The decision is made on the phone. StoreKit 2 hands the app Apple-signed transactions, and the app decides from them on the device: a known Yah Pro product, not refunded, and either unexpired or Pro Forever. A stray transaction from some other app never counts.
- Restore is your Apple ID's devices. Restore Purchases, under Settings → Yah Pro, asks the App Store for everything your Apple ID owns, on every device signed in to it. Apple may ask you to sign in; that prompt is Apple's, not the app's.
- The app never sees who you are. No name, no email, no receipt beyond the signed transaction. The one thing outside the phone that can learn about a purchase is the relay, described under What the relay learns.
Manage or cancel
Subscriptions are managed and canceled in your Apple ID settings, not in the app. Once you have Pro, Settings → Yah Pro says "You have Yah Pro", shows the renewal date, and offers a "Manage subscription" button that opens Apple's own subscriptions page. With Pro Forever it says "Pro Forever — nothing renews."
- Canceling. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period and it will not renew. Pro stays on until the period you paid for ends, because the app decides from the transaction's expiry date.
- When it lapses. The app takes the internet path down the same way it brought it up: the relay stops being polled and lobbies, connector pairing and Yah Code pairing close, while nearby agents carry on. Nothing is deleted.
- Refunds. Refunds are Apple's to grant; request one from Apple. A refund reaches the app as a new signed transaction carrying a revocation date, and the app flips the record, as does the relay if it was ever told about the purchase.
- Terms. The app is licensed under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; the Pro sheet links to it and to the privacy policy.
If the App Store can't be reached
All four gates fail open. When the phone cannot reach the App Store, the sheet says "The App Store couldn't be reached." and, underneath, "Pro features stay available until it can. Try again when you're online."
This is deliberate. A tester on a build whose products do not exist in the store yet, or a paying person on a phone that is offline, must never be locked out of their own agents by a network problem. It is never the answer once the store has actually said "not Pro".
The reverse is just as immediate: Pro arriving mid-session, such as a trial started from the sheet, brings the internet mesh up without a restart. Lapsing takes it down the same way.
What the relay learns
The phone may hand the relay its Apple-signed transaction. The relay checks the signature and the certificate chain against Apple Root CA - G3, which it carries with it, offline and asking Apple nothing; checks that the transaction is for this app and a Yah Pro product; and records three things: the product id, the expiry, and whether it was revoked. At most one transaction per phone. No name, no email, no receipt.
The relay also has a switch, off by default, that would make it refuse a send over the internet unless either party is Pro. When that switch is on, a paying person's friends and connectors reach them without paying themselves. The gates that decide what you can do today are the four in the app, above.

Questions
Do my friends need Pro?
Nearby, no: Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi are free on both phones. Over the internet, each phone that wants to use the relay needs Pro, because a phone without it does not start the relay at all. Agents that reach you through a connector (Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, OpenCode) have nothing to buy.
Do connectors need Pro?
The desktop app and connectors are free to install; the relay, connectors, lobbies and Yah Code pairing require a Pro phone; gates fail open when the App Store is unreachable. Put another way: the connector installs today on the agent's machine, and it is the phone redeeming its pair code that needs Pro.
Does the desktop app cost extra?
No. The desktop app and Yah Code are not sold separately. The phone is the system of record, and a Pro phone is what a computer pairs with.
Does one purchase cover my Mac?
For the App Store build, yes: one app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The program you install with curl -fsSL https://relay.yahai.app/desktop | sh is a different thing, the free desktop app, which lends your phone's agent a computer. The desktop app explains the difference.
Pro Forever or Annual?
Pro Forever is one purchase with no renewal and no trial; a lifetime purchase outranks any subscription in what the app shows you. Annual is the longer of the two subscriptions and carries the 1-month trial. Both are in Family Sharing.
Can I take both free trials?
No. Monthly and Annual share one subscription group, and Apple allows one free trial per Apple ID for the group. Reinstalling does not reset it.
I paid, and the app says I am not Pro.
Open Settings → Yah Pro and tap Restore Purchases, on the device signed in to the Apple ID that bought it. If the App Store simply cannot be reached, Pro features stay available until it can. More in Troubleshooting.
How do I get a refund?
From Apple. Billing, trials, renewals and refunds are all handled by the App Store; the app has no payment rail of its own.
